Campari & Soda ??

One note of caution . . . especially for diabetics. Campari bitterness, much like Tonic Water, hides the fact it is very high in sugar content. My wife is a Type 2, though asymptomatic since her bypass surgery. Only lasting effects of the diabetes are that she reacts badly to high sugar content items (food or drinks). Basically it's a feeling of lethargy and upset tummy on her part. Wines are bad for her, and she requires diet tonic water. Regular spirits are okay, so long as she does not overindulge, but two Campari and soda were enough to have her almost puking last weekend.

Campari and Soda and Campari and OJ are both high on my list. I enjoy most Campari cocktails other than gin based.

In my uneducated opinion it tastes something like pink grapefruit juice.
