I would guess some other company or investors will pick up the torch. It is a shame when companies fail but it happens. I have seen 34c clones for years but never bought one. I always wanted a short handle Progress but never got around to ordering one. I am sure stock will remain for many months but I went ahead and pulled the trigger on a Progress. What the heck, been looking for years so I guess it was as good a time as any to order.

Dovo and Merkur are both Solingen, Germany companies. They are closely linked, but separate entities. It is not allowed to link to other shaving forums here, but on the German forum where I mod the managing director is quoted that insolvency is asked for Dovo only, not Merkur. Merkur will continue.
