This is a very general topic/rant so I wasn`t sure where to put it, but since its related to some of the tools I've recently acquired to restore a few straight razors I figured it would fit in here.
So...I bought a HAMMER online (http://www.ebay.ca/itm/390540354604...X:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649#ht_3115wt_1246)! I still can't believe I did. I mean, ok its a ball-pein hammer not found everywhere but still, am I the only one shocked that I order more and more online?
Not so long ago, I ordered copper wire from China! It was about $3 shipped to buy some specific silicon wire temp-graded, but it would've cost me probably more had I found it locally. I also bought a dremel twice this weekend, first to Canadian Tire, to then return it the next day when I realized just next door at Home Depot it was 20$ cheaper (not on sale or anything). I'm pretty sure I would've saved another 5-10$ had I searched for it online...
Anyway, all said & done, its a very nice little hammer for only a few $. I can now peen a few pins!
