Business Casual Jacket Suggestions

I need some help guys. I work in an office and wear slacks with a button down shirt most days of the week. When I need to wear a sport coat or suit, I'm all set. I don't have a more casual jacket(s) suitable for the office environment. I probably need a couple--I usually wear black, grey, or tan pants.

I live in Las Vegas, so they don't need to be very heavy. I'd like to keep the cost under $300/each.

I appreciate any suggestions.

Check out the Jos. A Banks website, and look for a few basic, easily matchable jackets. I would start with a simple wool blue blazer. It will go with almost anything, but the "classic" looks are with khaki pants or gray wool trousers. Add a cottonY white hankey pocket square if you'd like to go a step further. A blazer or sport coat can really dress up your look, at a relatively low cost.

I don't know your style, but J. Crew has sharp casual jackets for about $200-$300.

I don't know if you have a Stein Mart near you but they always have an excellent stock of nice sport jackets for less than $200 a piece from a variety of makers with a lot of those jackets being from the Ralph Lauren "Lauren" line. I find them to be excellent accessories for the money.

Found an LL Bean catalog in my mailbox today when I came home from a trip that had cotton and wool blazers for $125-$185. Looks good in the book.

I get most blazers from the Brook's Brother's outlet on Charleston. They have many sale items and their blazers are excellent...and some are nice and light for summer.

BTW if you do have a Stein Mart near you they carry plenty of jackets like these from name brands. Worth a look.

You are in Vegas so this probably does not apply unless your office cranks up the A/C. But a sweater was the first thing that came to mind. Something like this:
