Hello,

I can't seem to find a straight up review about the Bump Fighter razor. I know it fits trac ii carts, but thats not what I am looking for. Is the Bump Fighter razor a good razor to avoid general skin irritation?

I have very sensitive skin, and tried bump fighter disposables. I honestly got no less irritation with the bump fighter, than I did with a mach 3. Redness, and ingrowns still abounded.

I used the Bump Fighter system just before I found out about traditional wet shaving, and to answer your question yes, they are very gentle and good for problematic skin. You will not get a close shave with them, as the set back blade that is also wire wrapped is designed to give a measured cut. It's about the equivalent of using the Andis T-trimmer to cut your beard, giving you a perfect 5o'clock shadow.
