Brought another one home.

My (new) fiance and I love nothing more than going to antique shops. Since I have found this site, I am either bringing something Jack Daniel's related home for my other collection, or I am bringing razors home. I found this one in a local shop in Athens AL. There are a couple more I am going back to get. Since we are looking for broaches for her for our wedding, I have decided to look for DE razors for my groomsmen. This is my first adjustable and I think it is 1965....K3 it says.

K3 is 3rd quarter 1965.

sure needs a little TLC... does it all work ok? just needs a good soak in some hot soapy water then a couple of goes in an ultrasonic cleaner or top shelf in the dishwasher, a ten minute soak in some isopropyl alcohol, a light polish and some mineral oil and it'll be good to go.

Cant beat it for $5. I have done scubbing bubbles, dawn and a tooth brush, and boiling it for 10 min....still cant get all the green crud off. I also cant get the adjuster to work yet...Thanks for the replies!!

I use a fine bristle brass brush on knurling and it usually works. Got to do that with a very light touch, though.
