Bronze Lord L6 on Amazon

While browsing safety razors on Amazon I came across this today:

Mens Bronze Super Plus Shaving Saftey Razor with 1 Extra Blade in Travel Case

Best I can tell, it looks identical to my favorite cheap razor, the Lord L6 (or LP.1822L) but in a bronze finish. It's also cheaper than the current going rate for the regular Lord L6 on Amazon. Anyone seen this or given it a spin in person? The primary seller is fulfilled by Amazon, so I may pick one of these up next time I need some filler to hit super-saver shipping. Maybe someone out there with Prime wants to give this a whirl?

It certainly looks like the L6, but Lord is based in Egypt. Amazon shows this razor is produced in China and I checked the Lord site and it doesn't show a bronze model. Seems it's a knockoff of a Merkur knockoff...

"Bronze" is a question too. I have a friend who is a bronze sculptor (He is working on a custom handle for me with a dragon and sword--I think--the wax is about to go to the foundry.). So he says there is a type of pot metal that can be called "bronze." I think it is flammable.

Good luck with your custom handle. That sounds totally cool. Of course everyone is going to want to know where you got it. Don't tease us and then don't tell.

Well, I wasn't expecting olympic metal quality bronze... I was honestly expecting some kind of polished copper alloy for the head and the same aluminum handle with some type of copper PVD plating.

Some of the 'gold' plated razors on alibaba have ''imitation gold plating'' in the description. Since I am not sure if they meant that the is not real gold or the plating is some weird chinese expetiment aimed of cutting costs down (think cadmium in children's toys), i think one could splurge and pay the exuberant price those L6 have been going for lately...
