Brining back the logo

I bought an old gillette brush, when I was polishing it I saw a very light old gillette logo. I'm pretty sure I remember someone posting about how to bring back or color in a logo, but I can't find it. So far all I have done is cover over the logo in a sharpie black and then polish around it to take away everything that didn't go in the lines.
If there is a better way I am willint to try it.

You might want to try the Sharpie Oil Based Markers. In the next couple of weeks I'll be using them for the first time.
