Brass Trac II?

While thrifting today I found a brass Trac II clone for four bucks and bought it.
Very heavy nicely made razor with no markings whatsoever.
It is about an inch longer than the Gillette Trac II handle and has a bulbous end.

Does anyone know who made these handles and when they were mfg??

Thanks for any info.

Pictures?

I have a brass non-marked Trac II that came as part of an Old Spice Set.

I have an unmarked brass trac 2 handle. I really like it, but like my slim better.

Here is a picture.

There were a number of different handles like that in different sets. Some bulbous like yours, some square. I just sold one that had an elephant head on the end of it.

Those were manufactured by a variety of companies. They are still made and sold. I saw one just like it (only brand new, of course) at T&H in Chicago this summer.

If it's not marked, there's probably no way to tell who made it.

Yes, they are still made. Col Conk makes a handle like that, and of course Merkur makes a supposed high end version that sells in the $40 range.
