Blades for Ever Ready Razor

Hi

I picked up an Ever Ready Razor off ebay thinking it took a normal DE blade. It doesn't

So, my question is what blades does it use, I have seen GEM single edge blades around. Would these do the job?

Gem SE blades will do it. So will Treet and Pal SEs. They are all available.

That razor looks exactly like my British made GEM. I shaved with it a few days ago with a normal drug store GEM blade and had a great smooth shave. I have a few Ever Ready's that I have yet to try but they look to take the same blade.

Looks like it will take the single edge blades that are available in your local pharmacy stores like walgreens or CVS. I think you can find Treet single edge blades at CVS and are decent blades to try.

Shaved with the same razor this morning. They do take the standard gem blades. Enjoy, keep it flat to your face and you will get a great shave, don't tilt it up... you have been warned.
