Thank you everyone for your input, as D1dad said, I guess if I don't shave a lot I can get a small pack of feathers for like 10$ or 15$.

As you can see, blades are likely the most YMMV thing in traditional shaving.

The main thing is to have fun and enjoy your shaves!

If the op is only shaving every 2-3 weeks and likes feathers a ten pack would last him a year at least. When you shave every day Feathers can be a bit pricey but in his case there's no issue.

Even Feathers are cheap compared to cartridges. I get 4 (sometimes 3) shaves per feather. I got a hundred pack for about 25 bucks shipped. Over a year of daily shaves for 25 dollars? That's a bargain compaired to $2/cart Mach 3's.
