Blade angle disposable razor

I am getting to think my angle of holding the razor when shaving with a dispoable is giving me razor burn. I have been shaving with a dispoable razor at the 30 degree angle used from DE shaving. However, it seems to be dragging the blades across my skin. Is there any truth to the idea that shaving with the razor more perpendicular to your face would prevent razor burn? At this angle it seems as though the blades only cut the hair and not the skin.

No matter what kind of razor you are using you'll get a more comfortable shave if the blade itself is at a very shallow angle with regards to your skin.
