I woke today and found emails from ATT and Blackland informing of Blackland's acquisition of ATT. Great news I say. I have razors from both companies and I'm sure Blackland will make ATT razors that are as good as the original company's products. According to the emails, ATT will operate as a separate brand and not as a new Blackland branded product like the Tradere.

I have no Above the Tie products but do have a number of Blackland‘s. Very impressed. I may well be tempted when the new ATT models come out.

Well I saw email about this acquisition nothing going to happen until 2024, so don't get all excited, 2024 is long way off. As I always say, until something is up and running, there are always bump in road.
I asked Blackland about the ATT brand and got this answer:

I love the ATT barberpole handles. I would love a titanium one and a brass one.
I’d imagine from a business perspective launching before Black Friday would be ideal to build hype. Then it’s making sure he has enough product in stock.
I would hate to imagine to prototyping decisions that had to be made. A lot of people were vocal about a razor but covered the blade tabs for instance but the wide heads are some of the heaviest I own. Then it wasn’t just their razors, but they also carried vintage and restored razors as well.
Would be cool if they offered Titanium straight out of the gate…
I would be surprised to see that happen. I’m sure Shane will be approaching this with caution in terms of actual sales expectations, and jumping straight into the cost of titanium without knowing how many people will be actual buyers for an initial release would be a big financial risk (and time suck).
Blackland finally makes knurled handles... I'm curious which razors will return and what changes (if any) will be made to the lineup.
Absolutely true from a business perspective - I was just daydreaming as a (potential) customer. I’ve always wanted a ATT in titanium, with the Calypso handle.
But we’ll have to wait and see what Shane’s vision for ATT is.

When I came into the area of Wet Shaving, ATT had already closed down, and I'm glad they were able to revive again.
Super excited to read this news, now lets see what ATT 2.0 cooks up!
