Biggelo VS. Proraso

I've tried a tube of Proraso (green) from Italy that my parents obtained on a visit to Europe around 4 years ago and currently have a tube of the Bigelow version. I find the Bigelow version to be slightly less appealing that the tube my parents brought me back from the old country.

I find either one superior to the three T's, but still can feel a difference.

Can anyone speak to the (objective) differences between the two?

Look at the ingredients list if you still have the old tube. I think Proraso used to put lanolin in their cream but removed it. Or maybe it was just in the red tube ... The formula today may be slightly different than 4 years ago.

I've used them both and haven't noticed any difference at all, but I by my proraso in a drugstore down the street from me, not in Italy. Still I can't see there being a huge difference between the two green tubes.

To add to the confusion: I believe Omega is also the same as Proraso.

Haven't tried either Proraso or Bigelow. Soon though....

Yes, Proraso makes the creams/soaps sold under the Omega brand. I tried the black Omega tub and can't tell the difference between it and Proraso.

Now, has anyone heard of Prep Sapone da Barba? It sounds very similar to Proraso, so it's either a clone or made by Proraso too. Their product line is also very similar to Proraso: pre/post, tub of soap, ASB, same eucalyptus and menthol main ingredients.
