Bialetti Brikka

Cool, we even have a coffee forum. This B&B seems to have it all. I am a master making proper espresso with the Bialetti stove tops. After over 15 years of meticulous testing and lots of trial and error I do believe I have gained the rank 'master'. Yep, not humble at all there. :biggrin1: And now with the Brikka they have perfected their original design. I may post pictures in the near future to prove the visual result from these neat machines. I use Percol Black and Beyond. Good bean for this method.

Best way to make coffee!!!

Just got my lady a stainless one for her b-day. Between that and our stainless french press, i will never have to buy a new coffee pot again. They are pretty much disposable these days.

It looks like the weigh creates foam? Now I have to buy a Brikka to see what it's all about!!!

The Brikka is slightly different though (not my picture):

It's got a weighted valve on top of the stalk which makes all the difference. Wonderful how a simple solution can be so good.
The small size Brikka does make a nice cup.

Seems like a nice piece of equipment. Do they make a stainless steel version?

I just replaced my Bialetti moka a month or so ago, but I'm sorely tempted by this design if it makes even passable crema.
