Best Lime scented soap

Hey Guys,

I'm a newbie DE shaver and I just picked up C&E Sienna which I love. While I was at the store, I saw that they had a Lime soap as well; I loved the scent, but it just wasn't strong enough. Can you recommend a soap which has a very strong but nice lime scent?

Thanks!

Castle Forbes Lime Oil. It's labelled shaving cream, but it's more of a soft soap. And, for my taste, this is the best Lime scent I've ever smelled.

From my very limited experience; Mike's Natural Soaps. No question in my mind that it's the best scented lime soap. There may be other lime scented soaps that are equal to it, (or that IT, is equal to)... but after smelling this, I can't conceive of a more natural scented lime, other than... a real lime. As a matter of fact. This may smell better than a real lime. :) ...but that would be pushing it. jmo

I was hoping to get a hard soap; I seem to like them better than the soft ones but I'll look into Mikes. A fellow B&B also recommended Castle Forbes but the price is too high for my budget.

agreed. well worth it, as it's so concentrated and you can lather it like a soap...but you only have to load minimal amount.

Starkicker...
QCS Key Lime (as least the cream) was a very nice scent and is a firmer soap.
MW also makes a lime, as well as Mikes.

probably can't go wrong with any of those.

That's an easy question: ARKO!!!
Well the smell is more like citronella but the performance is among the best there is.

Mystic Waters is the best I've tried. Wonderful, clean lime scent; not too strong and not too weak. She puts a little litsea essential oil (also known as May Chang) in there to "anchor" the scent. Brightens it up a little and makes it last longer.

I've had a puck of it in my rotation for a year or more and it still has just as strong and pure a scent today as it did the day I received it in the mail.

Castle Forbes lime is often described as a pure lime scent but to my nose there is an undertone that smells a lot like shoe polish. I find it a little off-putting. I think Mystic Waters lime smells significantly better than Castle Forbes.

YMMV

AHH! I LOVE lime...in my drinks. Not sure if I could handle the shave aspect of it. The temptation and I'm torn between the two.

If it has to be a Lime soap, then I fully endorse Mike's, but as already said, the CF Limes scent is THE best IMO. One of the few creams this soap user will use.

I'm a lime junkie, too. I haven't found a soap that is altogether too great (of course I haven't been spending much to find out, either). I like Godrej lime okay, especially since it is only $3 a tube (it's a cream though). My favorite thing is lime essential oil in Nivea Sensitive ASB. I smell like the Caribbean all day. It rules.

The only one that's available locally to me is C&E West Indian Lime; which is really nice but very light/faint. I will give Mikes and MW a try; I'll be in the States in a couple of weeks for work; I'll try to organize sample deliveries to me and let you know how it goes.

Thanks, I didn't know Nivea has a line that smells like Lime. I've seen Nivea Sensitive ASB (White bottle) in stores locally so i'll pop out and see if I can grab a bottle to try.

They don't have a line that smells like lime. I take the unscented Sensitive balm and add my own lime essential oil to it so that it smells like I want.
