Best Gem blades and where to buy?

I have been using a DE for about a year and the best shave of my life. And my collection has grown and now I wish to get into SE. I am of the impression that GEMs are by far the best. So I have a GEM 1912 coming in a few days and need to get direction on where to get good blades.

Also any other suggestions, how-to's, links, advice would be appreciated!

Thanks!

If you live in the US you can buy Gem's at Walgreens. I use them and find they are fine. Ted Pella's normally get mentioned but some of the guys that tried both can't tell the difference. The 1912 Gem is a great razor. Just start with the head flat against your cheek and rotate until you hear cutting whiskers. The audio feedback from a Gem is great.

I've only used GEM's from Walgreens. They work good enough for me. Very sharp and economically priced when you factor price per shave.

7-9 good shaves- GEM stainless (walgreens, cvs, etc.)
4-6 great shaves (IMO) PAL/Treet carbon steel (americarx.com,possibly rite-aid etc..)
