Glasses vs Contacts

I have "lost" a lens under my eyelid at the very back of my a few times over the years. A little rubbing the the right direction brings it back down.

As far as sleeping in contacts goes, I can and have often slept hours in them. I try not to make a habit out of it, though.

What is that? Never heard of it.

I have been an avid shooter for years and shoot 2-3 days a week. I have never had an issue with my contacts.
Presuming you wear shooting glasses, I don’t believe you would. In fact, I too wear contacts at the range with no problem.

However, shooting glasses were not allowed when I was in the Corps. It was during one of the rapid fire exercises and guessing that excess gas was venting from the bolt carrier and/or charging handle from the M16A2

Update: picked up my glasses yesterday. One thing fun about glasses is that you can tilt them up to get a good indicator of the difference they make. Holy smokes, do they make a difference! It's amazing what your brain gets used to.

I do feel my vision is..maybe crisper with the glasses vs contacts. However, the contacts don't steam up when I take a sip of my morning coffee. Also, the "safety glasses over Rx glasses" thing sucks big time. Looking forward to getting my Rx safety glasses for work soon. Thankfully I don't have to step into the lab too frequently.

Of course, the most important piece - SWMBO is happy with how they look. So is the oldest daughter. The youngest, I think, is still bitter that I didn't go with the pair that she picked for me. Sorry, kiddo, but SWMBO opinion > youngest daughter in that regard.
