Last time I had one of those I was sitting at AJ's in Destin, Florida eating oysters on the half shell.
It was the beer special of the day. I think it was $2 for a 16 ounce can.

My first beer that I shall be enjoying tonight is, as you can see from the photo, Erdinger weißbier. Thanks to one of my non-shaving acquisition dissorders, drinking vessels, I shall be imbibing this quality German Beer from a stein. When I drink, I drink in style
My second beer for tonight, is of course another German weißbier, Franziskaner.
Nice Dortmunder from Modist Brewing, Minneapolis MN, on tap at Union 32. 5.2%, crisp and clean, lively, thirst quenching carbonated finish.

Enjoyed a Sun King “Outfield Assist” at Victory Field earlier. Very easy drinking Vienna style Lager. I really enjoy AAA games.
Could have been worse; we're revisiting the almost annual beer fridge dilemma with Rick
. I would have had to suggest a time out if all you had left was Heineken....A limited release from Central Waters. It has a good reputation amongst fans of this brewery, and I was anxious to get hold of some. Rich, sweet coffee on the nose. No mention of the ABV but I'd guess 10% or higher. Warm, but not overly boozy. Pretty decent barrel-aged coffee stout.
