Bay Rum

I have a question: What is the best Bay Rum scented soap? A few details to help, I face lather, using a Silvertip Badger. I love Captains Choice, Ogalla, Clubman, and Masters bay rums, in that order. Haven't tried CO9T by the Captain yet, but will soon. So, again, what's the best Bay Rum soap?

Mike's Natural Bay Rum is really good and so is Queen Charlotte Cayman.

I have been using up a sample I got of Mystic Water Bay Rum and I love it! To be completely fair, I have never tried any other Bay Rum products (so mine is not the best opinion), but I love how this lathers, and feels on my face. And the smell is great

I recently purchased a 3 puck batch from Rays of Colorado on eBay, and the Bay Rum is the first one I tried. I used it first because my better half said she liked the smell the best of all three. I am not disappointed. However, the lather is not as stout as it could be. But to be sure, it is an excellent shaving soap!

Ogallala makes a bay rum scented soap that I have as a soap stick. It is truly a pleasure - and it gives an excellent smooth shave. For about $5 a shot, why not?

Ogallala. I recently finished 30 straight shaves with a puck of Ogallala Bay Rum soap and I liked it as much if not more than my Harris soaps. Their Bay Rum soap smells a lot like their aftershave. I'm love my bay rum. I also have 4 bottles of the 2 Captain's Choice aftershaves and a couple of others.

It's a different take on bay rum than lots of others. Less clove-y and cleaner. The lather is great and post-shave feel is as good as it gets.

Is the Col. Conk one any good? I have a small container of it in the cupboard but haven't even got to it yet. Been in love with the Castle Forbes Lime which has a much shorter shelf life I'm told, so I'm using that up first.

Some people live Col Conk. I haven't been too impressed. Good lather, but no scent. But YMMV.

I like both Mystic Water BR and Mike's,I think Mike's has the better scent but you can't go wrong with either one.

I sniffed a puck of Mystic Waters Bay Rum at a friend's place recently and I gotta say it smelled wonderful. May order a puck myself soon.

Definitely Ogallala or Mike's. Can't go wrong with either.
