Hello everyone. I have become curious about bay rum products. I have not had the chance to see what they smell like. My favorite AS that I own is Pinaud Clubman, love it. I want to try a bay rum and see what it is like, so who makes soaps and AS in that scent?

Edit: I also have Bay Rum Soap from Mama Bear and Saint Charles Shave. These are nice too.
A real nice standout (for my head shaving in the winter) is the "BayRum w/ a Twist" aftershave Milk from Saint Charles Shave.

I have had a number of samples of the Ogallala Bay Rum Aftershave, and it is top notch. The smell is somewhat like that of cloves, and cinnamon.
It's kind of different for a splash though, as it doesn't have any alcohol burn; I think this is due to the underlying ingredient likely being mostly witch hazel.

I am currently enjoying the Ogallala Bay Rum and Sandlewood soap. I am looking forward to picking up more of there products. I have also been using a Col Conk Bay Rum puck, but while I love the scent, it just hasn't performed as well as the other soaps and creams I have.
As for AS, I love my Dominica Bay Rum. I am almost finished with the bottle I have and I am dreading that day. I am most likly going to pick up the Pinaud Bay Rum as my next purchase.

I'm quite fond of the CO Bigelow Bay Rum AS balm, though these days you need to order it online.

I like the Ogallala AS, but the scent is fleeting. I really like the Bigelow cologne and balm...seems to stick around for a few hours.
The Clubman Virgin Island Bay Rum is a must-try, and available at many drugstores.
The Burt's Bees balm is very nice, and I've heard the cologne is, too. Their Bay rum shaving soap is like a rotting corpse flung on the parlor floor of wet shaving. YMMV.

Col. Conk makes a Bay Rum soap, although the scent is not super strong. I've liked it so far, but it looks like the consensus choice is Ogallala. Once I'm done with the Col. Conk, I'm going to give Ogallala a shot.
In additiona to Ogallala already mentioned, I like the Saint Charles Shave Bay Rum soap and ASB. It's not your father's Bay Rum. Sue has got a new angle on the scent. It's Bay Rum, don't get me wrong, just formulated differently than most.
I know that Bath and Body Works had a bay rum AS awhile back, but not sure if they still do. If I find it again, I'll post on it.

I placed an order last month with items for both myself and my brother-in-law so it was a pretty good sized order (for me, I'm sure some would disagree). I was very impressed with everything and they even threw in a couple of extra 4 oz AS scents to boot.

Another vote for Ogallala Bay Rum. The AS is great and the soap smells exactly like it and lathers really well. The AS is $9.99 and I think the soap is $4.95, so they are a bargain as well.
