If you enjoy a room filled with the scent of spiced pumpkin bread baking in the oven, or enjoy a mug of spiced apple cider while sitting around a crackling fire, you'll enjoy Barrister & Mann's Nocturne. Of course the luscious, thick, lather that leaves your face all aglow, is what we've grown to expect from these wizards of the artisan soap world. Enjoy, I know I did this morning.
Not at all. I think the performance is very similar between the two, but I think B&M lathers easier and smells better. It may be blasphemy here, but I think I found a tallow basedsoap that I rank higher than mike's.
I think I'm going to order the nocturne and the bay rum from these guys. Is there any difference in the amount of soap you get from the tin or just the puck?
I received a sample of this with my recent order, it smelled like bubble gum to me. I'm just getting over a cold so I'll have to give it a shot in a few days.
So far I love everything about B&M's. The packaging was so well done and professional. The tins I got are a perfect size. I've only used it once so I'll hold off giving my opinion on the lather but so far I have really high hopes.
It's just a standard screw top. Maybe a 3 incher. I'm not looking at it right now, but I think taller and narrower than Mike's. Puck fits with about 1/16 inch clearance all aroundWould you be so kind to post a photo of the tin?
