ball end old type repair.. so so .

I repaired it with epoxy and clamped it down with a c clamp . I looked pretty good but really there is a gap even though it seems strong and shaves close .
Q : I would like to fill the crack with something silver in color .
Is there such a thing as cold solder that can be melted in or some thing els ?
