I have been using this Edwin Jagger DE89 for about a month now. While it has been kept clean, I noticed it had lost some shine and started to develop water spots on the head. Soaked it in warm water, and cleaned it with baking soda and a tooth brush. Thanks to those who recommended that.

This is my go-to method when cleaning most razors. (Except for bakelite)
It works especially well on old vintage razors that have accumulated muck and grime over the last 50 years.
