Last week I purchased a bottle of GFT Sandalwood cologne. After I put it on, I noticed that it smelled nothing like the samples I got from Trumpers. It was weaker and smelled as if it had gone rancid/broken down? Has this ever happened to you? I was assured by the vendor that the cologne was supposed to smell much different than the skinfood but in my experience it smells exactly like the skin food and is stronger with greater silliage. I sent it back for another bottle, hopefully the next bottle won't have the same problem.

I found Trumper's Sandalwood cologne very similar, albeit stronger and with greater staying power, to the Sandalwood skin food.
I don't know if it smells like the Skin Food, but I think GFT Sandalwood EdC, one of my favs, is a rather sweet sandalwood, and shouldn't smell at all like something rancid.
Ditto. I have the sandalwood skin food and EdC and I am quite certain neither of my bottles have rancidity as a top, middle or base note.
