Still can't get used to how much my B&B Finest repels water. Rinse it off and give it a single shake, and it immediately blooms to full area, looking as dry as if it was sitting out for a week. Really strange.
My B&B Standard is the exact opposite; water holding MACHINE.
Here's what I've tried so far on the Finest brush:
Warm water + Liquid detergent soak for 15 minutes
9:1 warm water:vinegar solution soak for 15 minutes
Warm water + shampoo soak for 15 minutes
Please note that the above 3 steps were not performed back-to-back. They're merely a list of what I've been trying ever since I got my Finest brush. They're each separate by 1 to 1.5 weeks of use, but not daily use.
Is there a point where this brush will start to actually hold water? Do I just need to use it for a bit longer "breaking in" period than my other brushes (B&B Standard, SMF 1 brush, SR 3124)?
Any insight, comments, or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
