Recently I bid on, and won, the privelege of choosing 5 custom titles to bestow on any members I choose. Moderator and Title Tyrant Ouch has inflicted many a silly title on helpless members, and I think it is time for his comeuppance. So I am soliciting recommendations for Ouch's new title. The winner with the most hilarious title suggestion will be granted, by me, his choice of custom title for himself. Yes, that's right, folks. Tired of being a wetshaver wannabe, or a nancy boy nanny? Tired of being reminded of some stupid thing you said or some honest typo every time you look at a title that has been inflicted on you by some weisenheimer mod? Sick of getting no respect because of some stoopid nonsense between your user name and every post you make? Suffer no more! Be a Title Clown!
Rules are simple.
Contest closes Saturday, the 10th of November at noon Dubai time, more or less. Basically whenever I feel like it. Dubai is 8 hours ahead of the U.S. East Coast.
I am the only judge but I will consider any consensus reached by a significant number of contributors to this thread. In other words, if you see someone has posted a great idea for Ouch's new title, give it a +1 and if there is significant support for it, I will take it under consideration. If it is overwhelming, then I will bow to the majority.
When I have decided on the winner I will forward the suggested title via a mod to the admins for their approval, along with the winner's choice of custom title for himself. The winner's choices in effect will become my choices for two of my alloted five custom title choices.
It will be understood that after a reasonable interval, Ouch can exercise his perogative as a mod and change it back, but being the good sport that he is, I am sure he will keep it and suffer the ignominy for a little while, anyway.
Admins of course will edit or deny any title that is obscene or disrespectful of any ethnicity, religion, orientation, etc or that in some way is improper for this forum. I have no control over that and can make no guarantees, so keep it reasonably clean. But funny. Very funny.
The winner must be aware that any mod can change your custom title to a different one at any time, and so I make no guarantees that you will keep your chosen title for any particular length of time.
