I don't know about an aftershave but, I sometimes use pure tea-tree oil as a pre-shave; It might work as an aftershave, its a great natural antiseptic.

Truefitt & Hill ASB (not the fragranced ones to the best of my knowledge) lists Tea Tree oil and Aloe Vera on the ingredient panel.

That seems to be the wise choice, it's cheap and has a good list of ingredients. Unfortunately I can't get it here, and ordering overseas will raise the price a lot.

Shea Moisture makes an interesting "elixir" which is not so much a balm per your request, and maybe more akin to a splash by some, but it does have moisturizing properties. I have tried it and it feels pretty good, but not as heavy as a balm.

Actually, it is more like a gel than a balm. Anyway, it has a fair amount of tea tree oil in it. Not so much that it will cause any irritation.

My mistake! It's the Facial Wash and Shave Cream that has the tea tree

Just curious. I am or a regimen of putting 100% tea tree oil on the nails of a foot to remedy nail fungus. All I can say is the tea tree oil smell horrible.

Do the balms you mention above have that horrible tea tree oil smell or have they been modified to smell better?

I know the tea tree smell is not pleasant. These balms do contain fragrances or parfums which will in most cases hide the tea tree strong scent.

Don't forget that tea tree is a very potent antiseptic, with antibacterial and anti-fungicide properties. It will even kill head lice. All you have to do is to take the stink I'm interested in those antiseptic properties for my face after shaving.

Wow... I really like the smell of tea tree oil. I bought a bottle of it bought tea tree oil soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash. I also really like the smell of ylang ylang and verbena and am tired of sweet and oceanic sporty scented products.

Maybe it is because the camphor like scent, I don't know. Be careful with verbena, because Verbena oil has been banned in Europe for personal care use. They wouldn't ban it without a reason
