AS scents that smell like Groom and Clean?

hello all, this is my first post here, but I'm familiar with forums.

I visited my barber today and got my hair cut. I've only recently switched to going to a barber and this was my second cut from him, he does a great job and is a cool guy to chat with. He likes to finish up with a shavette on the nape and around the ears and whatever he ends up using at the end smells absolutely fantastic. I thought it was Stephan's Bay Rum, (which I ordered when i got home) thinking that this was the mystery scent, but I went to CVS and randomly bought some Groom and Clean to try doing my hair up for the first time, and I think I stumbled on the mystery scent! My question is: is there any aftershaves that smell like Groom and Clean? I love bay rum but G&C is so damn manly!

BTW, If you are in Bozeman, MT and need a cut or shave, go to Bryan at the Barbershop and shave parlor! you may recognize him as the barber from the tv show Dallas. he does a damn fine job and is very down to earth.

Hello and welcome to B&B!! I do love the scent of G&C as well. It's like a manly piece of spice bread..... if such a thing exists. I do not wear it during the day because I enjoy wearing cologne and it would definitely conflict. I usually wear G&C in the evenings at home if I take a shower in the evening. As far as aftershaves that smell like G&C, I can't think of any off of the top of my head. It would have to be a spicey one along the lines of Irisch Moos, Royall Spyce, or Old Spice...... but not those exactly.

Groom & Clean reminds me (vaguely) of Aqua Velva Ice Blue. Barbers often use the Master line of aftershaves. Maybe the Ocean Blue? It's similar to AV Ice Blue.
