Every time I pass a thrift store now I think about Tim and his Norton Razor Hone.
Your stone finding skills are second to none! I'm always looking forward to your next post!

Where do you score, Tim? Flea markets?
Very nice. That’s an old stone.
The primitive cuts are not listed on the site. If you write them and ask what they have available for primitive cut stones they will email you with pictures. While they are primitive cut stones, they are lapped flat just like their others and the cost is beyond reasonable. Very nice people and a pleasure to deal with.Wow! How'd you manage to get that from Dan's? I've never seen a primitive cut stone for sale on his website.
Wowza!Got this over used chunk from Germany. Apparently these types where chunks sold by Escher back in the day.

Early Xmas present arrived today!
Huge roughly 13 1/2” x 3 1/2 primitive translucent Ark from Dan’s. I may take it to the tile saw to clean up one edge, but for now she stays as is.
