Are T&H brushes made by Rooney?

I saw an earlier thread that referenced the T&H site as someone was looking to buy a Rooney... are T&H brushes in fact manufactured by Rooney? Are there any differences in hair quality or sizes?

Would a "3/2" generally be the same as the "T&H Classic Medium"?

Any help would be great... Thanks!

Some are. Some are also Vulfix made.

On the Truefitt forums I saw they said the brushes Rooney makes for them are double or triple packed with hair compared to regular Rooneys or something like that.

It looks like the 'ivory horn' handle color is very similar to the rooney 'ivory' color...

That can't be. That'd make it a nonuple-packed brush.

If you are familiar with the handle styles from Rooney and Vulfix, you will be able to tell them apart. If you are unsure you can post here and get two dozen opinions For reference, the only T&H brushes I have personally seen resemble the Rooney 3/1 and the Vulfix 375.

It looks like the "Firm" category brushes on the T&H site are Rooney handles... They even call one of the lines 'style 1' while the classic appears to be a Rooney 3:

Just called T&H and they verified that they have brushes made by both Rooney and Vulfix. ID is easy as the Firm brushes are Rooney and the Soft are Vulfix. As stated earlier if you are familiar with the handle shaped the ID is quite obvious. To answer the OP's question, yes, the T&H Firm Classic Medium is a Rooney 3/2. Hair is Super Silvertip and they are otherwise the same standard brushes you would get from VB and Classic. More importantly, with the BB09 discount code it becomes $87.20 vs $109 everywhere else. What a deal and mine has just been ordered.

LOL Free shipping as well. I have been on the fence about ordering SWMBO a brush for Xmas, and this just sealed the deal. I would not have even thought to look at T&H for this had I not seen this post. Thank you VERY much for opening my eyes to this source. Happy Holidays!!!
