Aqua Velva & Skin Bracer at CVS?

Gentlemen,

My girlfriend will be in the USA next month. The hotel she will be staying at (in Los Angeles) has a CVS across the street. Do they sell Aqua Velva & Skin Bracer? Where else can she find these?

Both of them will definitely be there and they'll likely be dirt cheap. No more than a fiver each I think. Usually can get clubman at cvs as well

Just a quick heads-up on the Skin Bracer bottle, since you're going to be traveling with it: It's not a screw-on, but rather a press fit, and is not nearly as secure as a screw-on top would be. I would definitely tape the top on securely before packing it into your checked luggage (and enclose each bottle in a ziplock bag just to be sure--on ALL of your liquid purchases. Airliner cargo holds are not generally well-pressurized, and that could result in some nasty surprises at the end of your journey.)

I can tell no difference between Skin Bracer and Barbasol Brisk. Brisk is sold only at Dollar General AFAIK, but it is 1/4 the price of the already inexpensive Skin Barcer and comes in a much more secure bottle with screw-on cap. You'll appreciate the bigger bottle Brisk comes in because you will love it and it's not like the US is right down the street from you when you need another one. Definately get Pinaud Clubman as well. There is nothing like it and it is GREAT! You'll have to buy that one on faith becuase Pinaud puts tamper proof seals on their bottles.

I get Skin Bracer at Dollar General, and its $3 for 5oz compared to $1.75 for 5oz of the Barbasol Brisk. I'll buy the original at that price! Get 2 Skin Bracer bottles, I LOVE the smell, its a classic here in the US for a reason! Pick up Barbasol Pacific Rush if you like menthol, its not bad either

Dollar General is JUST beginning to make an appearance in California.
We had one open up in Chino a couple of weeks ago, and so far, it's the only one I've seen.

Strange... the store locator on their web site lists 11 stores between here and Barstow, nothing towards LA at all, but it does not list my new location.
Yahoo doesn't show mine, but it shows one in Whittier and one near USC.

My advice reflects the one that John gave you, Rocco. Make sure she tapes the caps to the bottles, all bottles. I had a bottle of Brut that leaked between Vancouver and Montreal when I came back from Melbourne. The luggage smelled nice but I nearly lost the full bottle.

To this day, that luggage still smells like Brut within a 1 metre radius!

Yes, tape all bottles, and then put them in a gallon Ziplock bag, just in case.

Any drug store (CVS, Walgreens), supermarket (Walmart, K-Mart), or grocery store will carry those two. Should also be able to find AV musk, and Brut.

Dollar General carries Barbasol Brisk and Pacific Rush. Pacific Rush is great if you love menthol (very strong). Brisk smells similar to Skin Bracer, but it is not identical. I personally can't stand Brisk, but I love Skin Bracer.
