AOS Sandalwood Cream

I opened this up this morning, and don't remember how long it's been since I used it. Obviously a long time because it was dried out to the point where it is almost as hard as a soap.

So just for S&Gs I tried it and was very pleasantly surprised.

This worked so good I don't think I'll try, but just out of curiosity, can dried creams be rehydrated?

Try putting about a teaspoon of hot water in the tub, sealing it, and waiting a few days. It may help if it's not too far gone. If not, just treat it like a soap.

I had this same thing happen with my Sandalwood cream that was 1.5 years old. AoS Customer Service recommended adding a bit of water and stirring with a knife, then adding a bit more and stirring again until the original consistency was restored. She stated to me that they use NO preservatives in their creams which is why they can dry out over time. I did it with my lemon and it seemed to work fine, but I had already used the Sandalwood like a soap.
