So I was out of town for a few days in Tampa, Fl, and was in the International Mall. The mall has an AOS store. Browsed around and had nice converstation with sales associate. He gave me a few boxed perfect shave sample packs. It had unscented shave oil, cream and balm. I had only brough my slim and arko stick to shave over the weekend, with some Gillete Cool Wave aftershave. So I give this little perfect shave kit a whirl. Must say, I got a really smooth shave from the AOS sample kit. Might have to look into getting some full size stuff. Never gave much thought to AOS with all the choices out there, but the quality seemed to be top notch.

Lucky you, everytime I go to the Maimi Dadeland and ask for 1 sample, they are not available....
I think it was the Slim and Arko.
I was coming back from the Fort Meade area this weekend and stopped by AOS in the Mall at Millinea. I'm new to wet shaving and not personally familiar with their products and after talking to a young salesman that didn't seem to know as much as the kind gentlemen on this forum have taught me he retreated to the counter, put 2 unscented perfect shave tester boxes in a bag and happily sent me on my way. Haven't used them yet but looking forward to it!
It seems that people like to hate on AOS because it's owned by P&G, but their stuff is truly top notch. It sounds like you really enjoyed the shave! A lot of people here think that the pre-shave oil is a bit too thick to be effective (and I agree), but the creams and balms are pretty great!

The oil went on a little think, but I watered it down a bit and applied the cream. Might add a few of their products to my war chest.
I have a couple of these sample kits. They're great for traveling.
