Anyone recommend a good facial cleanser?

I shave in the shower and would like to know what is a good over the counter facial cleanser. I have sensitive skin that gets dry. Thanks

After years of trial and error and asking for advice at top stores around the world, I found 3 that work well, although they are on the pricier side.

Anthony Logistics Glycolic Facial Cleanser
Sharps Barber and Shop's Daily Prep Foaming Scrub
Lush's Ocean Salt

Lush's product is all I use now, and I think it's the best of the 3 (all natural, works well, good for sensitive skin).

Of course, this all depends on how oily your skin is and what you want to use it for.

I have moderately sensitive skin that's a bit oily (get a zit once in a while w/o the above cleaners).

Thank you, I actually tried the Anthony's and wasnt too impressed with it. It didnt foam up and seemed greasy.
I use The Body Shop's Maca root wash now, its not bad but Im just seeing what else is out there.

Purpose Gentle Cleansing Bar. It's an amber colored, glycerin based bar. It's a big sucker and it lasts for about 3-4 months. I don't remember how much I paid for it, but it's under $10.

I really like Burt's Bees radiance facial cleanser. It has oil controlling oils in it though so I'm not sure how it would fit a dry skin.

Have you ever tried Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser? It's recommended by Dermatologists. I read about it in Mens Health

If you just need something gentle and dontneed anything specific for acne...then Cerave is good, not drying at all.

For something you can pick up at Target, Neutrogena foaming cleanser works well for dry and sensitive skin. Good luck in your search-

Cetaphil is a great place to start...I use Lucky Tiger face wash now and I really like it. You can buy it at vitacost for next to nothing.

I've been using the Zirh clean Bar for the past 3 months and there's till over half of it left.

Found it for $4 at TJ Maxx/Marshalls

Try whatever soap or cream you are shaving with all over your face. It should gently clean and you don't have to buy extra product.

I like Jack Black Pure Cleanse and AL Blue Algae. I have sensitive skin and out of the many products I've tried, these work with my skin.

However, I think that along with JB and AL, other top quality mens products may work for you. Nancy Boy, Billy Jealousy, Urth, C.O. Bigelow, Menscience, Men-u, etc all make high quality mens' products that may work with your skin type.

I would suggest trying to get either samples or travel size bottles of some of these and seeing what works.

I recommend Tabac. Just whip up some lather and spread it with your shaving brush around your face. It's lightweight and you smell great afterward.

+1 on the Cetaphil. I have used it everyday for a number of years and have not had a problem with it. I think I saw something about it in Details magazine recently.
