That's what I was afraid of. I placed an order a week ago and haven't heard anything. I wonder if the health issues he was having last year have returned.
I ordered my big daddy from Ron last year and it did take about 2~3 weeks to get a tracking number.
I heard nothing from him then it came through.
I'm not complaining just letting you know my experience, I would order from him again.

I ordered a strop last Sat., got a tracking number on Sunday and received the strop on Wed. After I got the strop I e-mailed them (him?) with a couple of requests to buy some additional hardware but have not heard back as of today (Friday). So somebody is shipping product from Star and they have at least one happy customer.

His daughter ships stuff out. Just ordered another strop from them and got it today.

Looks like my order fell into a black hole and the vendor doesn't seem to want to communicate at all.

I ordered a 2" wide simple strop last week. Not sure what day. Got email next day that it shipped and it came yesterday.

Thanks Hillbilly. I ordered the 3" Latigo. I wonder if they're out at the moment. Still no word from vendor and order was placed a week and half ago. Credit card charged. Not sure what my next step should be. They clearly don't respond to emails. ???
I've had no issues with my orders from them. Sometimes it takes a few days for them to get back to you, but remember that it's a small organization run by just a few folks.
I sent them an e-mail on Wed. and received an e-mail response on Sat. Apparently the e-mail I used is not checked that often though and they suggested using [email protected] in the future.
Just a thought but you could give them a call on the telephone.

I ordered a Big daddy strop as well. I've sent them a mail and got a reply the same day. But the mail came in my spam box. So you might want to check that? I got a tracking number about 1-2 days after my order and received it really soon. (It had to come oversea to Belgium.) Had to pay lots of custom costs but I'm very pleased with it.
