Anyone allergic to Indian shaving creams

I ordered shaving creams from Beyboo and I think I might be allergic to something in them. I don't break out when using them, but they make my face burn slightly. Not an overwhelming burn, but enough to make me take notice. I have noticed this with the Old Spice original, Godrej Rich Foam, Palmolive Lemon, and Axe Denim (this one was the worst). Has anyone else experienced this?

I haven't had a chance to use them all (I think I remember the Old Spice Lime being burn free) but the ones I did use I have used while in a hotel in a different part of Korea, so it may be the water. The 2 shaving sticks I brought with me seem to be fine, so it makes me think that it might be the creams. I will try them back at my dorm room next week just to be sure. If they still burn, they'll be on the B/S/T soon after.

I have tried the Palmolive and Godrej DeLuxe and both agree with me. Both give me excellent shaves. However, neither lathers as luxuriously as Proraso.

There was a guy in the general chat this week who also had a reaction to Godrej if I remember correctly.

Many of them have lanolin. Are you using the same brush for all? Are you using a brush at all or hand applying?

Not so sure about the Lanolin. I had a reaction to Musgo Real, but not to MWF soap. Both contain lanolin.

I am using the same brush for all of the creams and face lathering, but when I throw a shave stick in the mix it never reacts badly, so I don't think the brush has anything to do with it. I'm going to see how it works this weekend when I get back to my room at my base.

I've had a little tingle/burn from Godrej Rich Foam and Old Spice Original. Not too bad, but they won't be my everyday shave creams. I'll alternate them with shave soaps/sticks, Menthol Mist, Fresh Lime, and Palmolive refreshing lemon.

Muhle/Edwin Jagger sea buckthorn shave cream gave my face a burning sensation. The sandalwood AS die not.
