Anybody else with acne issues do this? Proactive lotion as AS

I've been annoyed with random acne popping up on my face still, especially since it really messes up a good shave. I found a small bottle of the Proactive lotion, which has acne medicine in it (step three of their three step system that costs a ton of money). Tried it out as part of my post shave.

So awesome!

After my shave I do a cold water rinse, some Thayer's witch hazel and then the Proactive lotion. Essentially I'm just doing a cheapo version of the full Proactive system (wash, toner, acne lotion), and my face feels great afterwords. I have a theory that putting it on after removing a layer of skin makes the medicine more effective. Maybe not. I don't know.

If you're having trouble with acne, I highly recommend giving this a shot.

Think about using an alum block. I don't use witch hazel, but I use an alum block after I shave and I have no acne issues where I shave at since I've been doing that. I think it probably kills acne growing bacteria growing in your skin.

I actually get red bumps/acne if I use the alum block on my face. I restrict the alum block to my neck only. I use witch hazel on my face.
