I'm lucky, here in Penzance they have a great shop selling pure ingredients soaps, balms, hair products etc.
They do sell a shaving soap which I have yet to try.
The shaving balm is one of the best I've used. It has a very slight citrus odour and is absorbed very quickly into the skin.
I use it just after my shave when my face is still a bit damp. It's great!
When it's dry I sometimes use a splash as well.
It costs £7 plus £1.50 postage which is very reasonable.
You can get it from here: http://www.purenuffstuff.co.uk/mens-skincare-/aftershave-balm.htm
( I don't know the owners and am not trying to promote their products but the balm is just great )
Here are the ingredients:
aloe vera (aloe barbadensis); xanthan gum (xanthan gum); witch hazel (hamamelis virginiana); essential oils: clary sage (salvia sclarea) and lime (citrus aurantifolia)
the shop is situated in the old 1830's Egyptian House
