Antique store find. Did I do good?

Today I picked up a pen at an antique man. It's a sheaffer pen that's green and made of plastic. It was called a sheaffer life time. Ill hopefully add pictures later. If anyone could give me advice based on my description I'd be greatful. Thanks!

Lots of Lifetime pens, they were the guaranteed pens with the white dot. We will need a pic, will you be able to post one?

Nice looking late 1930's Balance in Marine green celluloid. You'll need a #16 or #18 sac, it looks like the slender to me though.

Great score! And hey, it's not plastic like the new ones.

So I'm really new to this.. I have a metropolitan coming in along with two preppys with a bottle of noodlers xfeather... whats a sac?

Its a bladder (small balloon that acts as a vacuum) that when you lift the fill lever out squeezes the sac and forces air out of the sac. When the lever in let down the vacuum in the bladder sucks ink into it through the nib.

It is an internal converter ;)

The sac is the bladder that holds the ink, yours is missing. They are made of rubber and you will need one for the pen to be restored to working condition.

OH! THAT'S WHAT THE LEVER IS FOR! Gosh I love B&B I learn so much! So how would I install such thing? Is there places for this?
