Another newbie question - switching hands?

I try, I’m so accident prone that I feel that it’s almost necessary. Right hand is dominant, but shaving with the left is absolutely possible but doesn’t feel natural. Lathering in the bowl and then applying on the face just seems weird using the left.

I try using the same grip and technique as the right but the left is not as elegant, sometimes I feel like I should just caveman grip my razor when shaving with the left.

Welcome to the site! It depends on how comfortable you are using your non-dominant hand to shave with a safety razor. I switch hands when using a straight razor. When using a safety razor (DE, SE, Injector, etc), I use my dominant hand only. I sometimes switch hands but it's rare. Depends on how I feel.

Switch hands is no big deal if you practice.

When I was lawdog, we had to learn to shoot weak hand.

Just invade strong hand hsd problem.
