Another Muhle Silvertip review

So here it is another review, this time a custom handle with a 23mm Synthetic knot from Muhle. I set it a little lower than I had seen, I didnt measure it I just placed it in the handle until I liked the feel.


From the top, denisty is not bad

Nice soak in my Grandfathers old shaving mug

Lets see how much water she hold, light squeeze

Another soak and a little cream. The bowl is an old stainless mixing bowl with ridge made of CA glue. I shook some water out but a light shake

It held a good amount of water. I did not shave after this but I have used it once so far. Soft tips for sure, it could use more backbone but still great. It is not my favorite but you should give it a try.

That's very nice. Do you mind sharing the total cost, including shipping, of the knot?

Did you get that knot directly from Muhle? Is it from the Classic line? Didn't think they sold those.

I got just the knot from Muhle, cost was about $35 shipped and I got two of them

That sounds fantastic, are they the 'classic' model? The only ones I can find on the Muhle website are the stylo/purist ones - the ones that screw in. They are also more costly. Can you post a link to the item page if there is one, on the Muhle site? Thanks!

You have to contact Muhle, these are not the screw in type of knot

I faced latherd with Valobra this morning. The brush does have good back bone and has a very different feel. Hard to explain I cant feel the tips at all. I am still not sure I like or or not
