I finally got my hands on a jewelers grade buffing compound and the results were excellent. I buffed this head to the nearly dropping it from the heat generated with no plate loss after a straight 3 minutes on the wheel a feat unattainable with my other compounds. Here are the results my best so far. I did sustain an injury last night while using my new buffer set up. I was buffing out a three piece Tech and got cocky pushing too far into the wheel, I hear a spinning sound almost like an RC airplane motor starting it was the head spinning off at super sonic speed it sent the cap right into the top of my foot. Note to self never wear sandals while buffing anything metal.
