Alternatives to Jonathan Dirt product (natural, firm hold)

I've been using Jonathan Dirt (Amazon link) for the past six to nine months, and like the natural feel of the product and its lack of scent. Its hold is just on the weak side, though -- my hair with the right product can get some nice loft, but the only products I've come across that do this don't allow my hair to move and make it feel like waxen statuary.

Any ideas for an alternative product with a natural, firm hold?

Additionally: My scalp irritates easily, so I've been avoiding scented products. Regardless, something that won't irritate my scalp is important.
