What's new

Alright.. Into the deep end!

So I received a straight in the mail from Larryandro and after 2 days of getting over my fears I shaved with it on Sunday!

Nothing like putting a blade to your neck to bring caution to a whole new level!

Did 2 WTG passes. No bleeders

Not the closest shave (probably just below a DFS) but considering the learning curve that I hear about, I am happy!

Those razors really do look small in my hand though.. I always pictured them as larger! lol

The fun has only just begun

Well done you:thumbup1:i have been shaving with a straight for a few months, and still my shaves are not as good as my de shaves, but i am now at the point where i dont use a de to touch up, and happy enough to wander out into the big world with a shave from a straight, keep enjoying yourself:001_smile

haha me too! When I opened my first one up I was thinking hmm.....that is really small. And the scales were.....so delicate!

There are some nearly 4" long 1" deep sheffields around if you want a bigger one. Be prepared to pay through the nose for them though.
