So I picked up a restoration project today for $13. Not knowing anything about the razor, I could tell it was made (assembled?) in the US and had a surprisingly intact edge. It's marked AW NY on one side and Over The Top (pic) on the other.

nice pick up! can’t wait to see it cleaned up. you sure that's not a turnip or radish??
It's an old style top. My dad had several and taught me how to use them. That's a great find! I'm now on the lookout!
I know, I was just teasing OP, but a radish as a stamp could be fun. I;m just imaging the conversations using radish instead of tiger or puma.

Well it turned out it was easier to get to shave ready than my Razolution. Running with the "Army I brung" and 2 hours, I went after it with steel wool/oil; 2000 grit sandpaper/water, 1000 to 220 to 1000 to 4000 to 8000, to green paste to strop. IF it was made the last year the company existed, it would be at least 89yrs old.
