Advice on next razor

Gents, been shaving for about a year with a Merkur 34 C. I really like the heft/weight of the razor but would like something that is a bit more aggressive with a longer handle. Any recommendations?

The blades I am currently using are persona (?) Reds. I have used lord's; a couple of feathers; and some others that I can't recall at this moment. Jim

The Merkur 39C (slant bar) would suit your criteria. The slant bar razor works great for me although I only have the standard version - 37C. The Progress may also be of interest as you can vary the blade gap. The weight is good too. It also comes in a long handle version.

Hard question to answer but here goes my .02 cents long handled progress or Futur / Weber with classic handle and i would reccomend trying a polsilver super iridium blade

38c is the logical progression from the 34c with it's longer heavier handle but the same head.

if you want a heavy slant then go for the 39c as Invicta said but that will be a quantum leap from the 34/38c imho, ymmv.
