Adjustable SE

Here is a cool one that I have never seen, its a adjustable single edge razor that uses modern SE blades. Says made in USA pat 1913

That's neat, Mike. It looks like the razor was based on the Gem 1912 and made adjustable. That's pretty interesting.

I just got done trying this razor out, I got probably the best shave I have ever had from a single edge blade.
I used a GEM blade and used it from the wide open to fully closed positions. Wide open is a very close and smooth shave, I did end up with a small cut on my lip from a careless moment.
Its a shame there are not more like this around

Another razor added to my list. Mike, "wide-open" must feel like a straight as the blade guard looks to be a non-factor! Nice find.
 
It's hard to see the name on any of the pics.
Is that "Superman" or "Tuperman"?

I cant say for sure, it looks like the first letter may be a J, or even a S.
I havent been able to find any info on this razor, and I cant find anything like it.

A Superman razor. This is seriously cool. Way too cool in fact.

I wonder what a Batman razor would look like.
 
How is the blade held in place? I don't see any toggle or anything. Just the pressure from the top piece, or does something have to be screwed down?
