adhearing puck to the tub

I had a great shave with my new puck of QCS Lavender today.

Problem: it's a bit too small for the old Castle Forbes cream tub and rotates/slides around while I'm loading the brush. How do I get it to stick to the bottom of the tub?

I would try to scrape some soap off the puck somewhere and tamp it back in around the sides to help "glue" it down, probably scraping it from the bottom. I would also dampen the bottom of the puck to help it stick. Failing that, grate the entire puck and tamp it into the container.

You could try a few drops of superglue to roughen the surface of the bowl, it should allow the puck to help adhere better.

dont use the glue to fix the puck, allow it to dry first!

I typically load my brush while chasing the puck around the tub. After I'm done shaving, I'll make sure there is a bit of water under the puck and then mash it down. The water plus the soap and pressure make the puck stick just fine.

The super glue idea is pretty smart, I may try that next time.

Hold the puck upside down in your hand when you next load your shaving brush. After you have finished loading, simply press the puck back into the bowl. It should stick pretty well.
