... and this time it is Acca Kappa 1869 tub, my favorite shaving software...

Here is the message I got when I wrote AK asking when it would be back in stock:

Hi Luis,

I just found out that the shave cream is being reformulated to add more
botanical ingredients. We hope to receive the improved formula in late
October.

FWIW, the only place I've found it still available (in the US, at least) was here: http://www.spaspa.com/Acca-Kappa-1869-Almond-Shave-Cream-p/3229.htm. (And I've looked a lot!)

The tub was in stock at West Coast Shaving momentarily, but now it's gone. Reformulated or not, the frenzy surrounding this soap prevents it from being available for long! I look forward to trying some time later down the road. Way later.

I haven't seen the reformulation yet either. In fact, AK's web site is not even listing the tub at this time... But then again, they said they were "hoping to receive the improved formula in late October", so it is still early. I will keep my eyes open for sure. I am not sure if it is possible to improve on the original, but I'll give it a shot.

(Italian Barber also had it for a little while back in stock, but it seems to be gone now.)

I'd agree with that. It certainly is good stuff. It's only soap/cream I don't get tired of using.

I snagged a tub of the current formula from Italian Barber this week. I used it this morning and I think this is an excellent cream. I hope it stays as good if it gets reformulated.

I've been checking AK's web site, but haven't seen the new version show up yet. (The old one is gone.) BTW, italianbarber.com had some of the old tubs in stock last time I've checked, but the site seems to be down now...
